Bottle from Beers of Europe. Spicy hop aroma. Yellow colour. Cereal biscuit flavour. Not a bad lager.

SarkyNorthener (4621) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle from Eastern European shop. Yellow beer with medium foamy head and a little lacing. Looks better than most pale lagers. Aroma is metalic and grassy. The taste is a little sweetcorn and mild herbs. Slight sweetness in the aftertaste too, refreshing. Not overly carbonated and decent body for a pale lager. Not bad, better than commercial UK lagers by far.

Bottle from Lithuanica, Birmingham. Doesn’t smell great - very sweetcorny. Very pale, little head. Taste is smooth with lots of cakey flavour and some dolly mixture. Perhaps a bit of candied fruit. Pretty light and easy to drink. Haven’t totally made up my mind here. It’s reasonable.

2.9
rauchbier (3891) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2012
Bottle (5%), from an ethnic food store in Scunthorpe. Gold, thin but lasting white head and low condition. Low sweet grainy malt and herbal hoppiness in the nose, quite fruity in the mouth with some malty sweetness and a pleasant tingle of hop bitterness which lingers into the finish, some estery notes develop with time.
