Bottle. Pours clear light yellow with an average, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (husky grain, hay, straw), average hops (grass), average yeast (earth, leaves) with notes of apple, pear, and vegetable. Light bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. rauchbier (3949) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2012
Bottle (5%), from an ethnic food store in Scunthorpe. Gold, thin but lasting white head and low condition. Low sweet grainy malt and herbal hoppiness in the nose, quite fruity in the mouth with some malty sweetness and a pleasant tingle of hop bitterness which lingers into the finish, some estery notes develop with time. badhack (571) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Mild hop aroma. Light on the tongue but slightly sticky. Hazy honey color. Lots of head that doesn’t last. Light flavor, somewhat sweet hoppy finish. thedm (6320) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 16, 2008
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy with a frothy top bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated yellow colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was floral and malty. crisp . The flavor contained notes of malt hops and grassy. An OK brew just nothing special. wlajwl (7201) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAR 26, 2012
Aroma is grains and tea-like but not quite. The flavor is heavy on the grains, along with fruit and a flavoring to the grains that I can’t quite place. Different and decent enough pale lager.

568ml can from an offie in New Malden, 5%, 75 year edition. This was part of a ’buy 6 for £5’ deal. How anyone in the supply chain made any profit is beyond me. Anyway… this is golden yellow, clear, pretty much still, small foamy white head with nice lacing. Aroma is lemon juice, jif, estery bubblegum. Wasn’t expecting the frutiness. Body is medium, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is gummy bears, soft malts, simple sugars, biscuit, a little citrus, touch of spice towards the finish. A bit weird and estery for the style. Almost has some saison character. Pretty interesting. Leini (2079) - SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2016

Pale straw colored pour with a tight white head. The aroma is simple. Pale malt and a touch of light hoppiness, but not much else. Simple, clean tasting brew.
