Undistinctive lager. Has some smoothness. Light in overall: from hops and bitterness to malts and spices. Grainy, maybe bit watery. Soft carbonated. Light golden color. Ungstrup (37284) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2009
Can. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, metal, and straw, while the flavor is sweet with notes of metal and malt. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 9, 2010

19.2 oz can, Riga Airport. Typical watery flavorless inoffensive Saku lager--maybe a tad of creaminess and a bit less rust on the finish but it’s the same damn stuff every time.

Bottle. 1PT. 09 oz. Pours pale yellow with nearly zero head. Aroma has a vegetable quality to it, lightly unpleasant at times but with enough hoppiness to save it and a sweet maltiness that comes through once it gets enough air. The palate is fairly good, medium carbonation, medium in body. Flavor is somewhat sour cabbage, some carrot, mildly bitter but after a sweet and malty front. Finish is light and almost okay, it leans towards something nicely hopped and fairly dry but gets screwed up with a couple off flavors I can’t define. Good bitterness, good palate, everything else is lacking. It gives me that malt liquor type corn flavor I’ve grown to hate. Better than the last few beers off the same shelf though. Just a touch more hops might have covered up all that vegetable yuckiness. I guess I got quite a ways to go before I kill the eastern bloc section at Topp’s because I’ve not even gotten through the first half case. Hope this one will continue a streak of unskunks. hotstuff (5140) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 24, 2008
Bottle.Small very fizzy white head that quickly dissipated, spotty amounts of lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was hoppy, semi-sweet and some grassy notes. Flavor was hoppy, bitter, semi-sweet, and somewhat harsh tasting.Mouthfeel was spritey and medium in body.Did not enjoy the taste of this beer due to it being somewhat harsh tasting, boring nothing exciting about it IMO and not one that I recommend spending your time or money on. Bottle at tashi’s Lithuanian Fighting Lager tasting, 5th Oct 2008. Another generic Baltic lager. How many more can I take? Not offensive, just very dull. Aroma is not so good.
