Decent would be overstating this beer. There’s simply much better options in latvia (even from aldaris!) Simply disappointed with the weak, oily flavor and boring palette. Visually it’s pretty nice though. Bottled, 1/2 liter, rimi, riga
Bottle from Rasputin’s, Ipswich. Historical rating. Poured a dark amber colour with an off white head. Sweet, malty aroma with caramel and prunes. Average carbonation, medium sweetness. Decent enough. Vells (1833) - Rīga, LATVIA - NOV 29, 2012
Clear golden to brown with medium white lasting head. Lacing very nicely.
Aroma.. nose some not very amusing herbal. light malty. Same goes to flavour only if you push your senses to the max, there is some notes of caramel. Sweet, with bit of sourness and very light bitter finish.
Overall.. goods.. nice look, easy drinking, refreshing. deanso (10070) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 16, 2012
bottle from Rimi Centrs, Riga.
Thick white head. Clear light amber pour. Ok. I was expecting a darker beer with more flavour TEJA (3025) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 1, 2012
Bottle at Dan N. thanks.
Light beige head. Dark yellow color.
Much sulphur and coocked vegetables in the aroma. Some dark roasted malts in the taste and a balanced bitterness. Good body. liinis (1770) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 24, 2012
negative surprise here with a very common type of beer and common bulk beer flavours. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 2, 2012
courtesy of Per - pours a clear amber beer under a little beige foam left; the nose is dusty and herbal, medicinal; moderate malt backbone and a low carbonation; short and dry herbal and slightly vegetable-like finish - dubious halapablo (143) - Warszawa, POLAND - JAN 25, 2012
jak na Łotwę to zupełnie niezłe piwko. Fajna mięciutka woda, nieźle wchodzi choć niezbyt dobrze skomponowane nuty słodkie z gorzkimi i kwaśnymi.

In bottle. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of bready yeast, caramel and Ovaltine malt. Similar flavours. A little oily with mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. Light bitterness and a caramel linger. JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2011
Deep amber pour with a little bit of light malt sweetness. A bit of caramelly character along with a touch of soft fruitiness. Simple but not unpleasant. Reminds me of some Mexican examples. A little faint herbal flavour on the finish.
