Pale hazy yellow color. Nice white foamy head which stays longer than in normal lager, some lace. Aroma is soapy and slightly hoppy. Taste is malty and extremely sweet for a lager, quite full bodied. Some hops in finish.

Straw colour; fruity aroma - some plastic, too. A little malt, herbal hops, apple. Mild and more or less drinkable.

Can, 5.2%. Weak citric aroma. Clear pale yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is also citric, has a tolerable mouthfeel and is not too unpleasant.

Keg (Victory, Riga) Light orange, thin head. Decent potent light malt aroma, but a little sour funk spoils that. Does have a little body, but is disappointing. Better than many a pale lager though.

Clear 500 ml bottle. I like the presentation: Embossed bottle with attractive cap and foil. Color is an apricot tinged gold, seems a little hazy. Pour left really geometrically interesting large bubbles in the bottle. A creamy white head is in the glass. Ripe fruit and grass aromas. Near medium body with soft carbonation. Very smooth, very clean. A little malt, some florality, and some grassiness. Its very fresh and tasty. Unusual. The finish is nicely bittered. Leaves the mouth feeling clean.

Bottled, Pasteurised. Pale straw coloured with carbonated head. Saved for the Latvia v Holland game, sweet malt mash with corn notes and a false hoppiness. Doughy, yeasty, but not disgusting.

(11.2oz bottle) Big white head atop hazy straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, some caramel, light hay. Taste is medium sweet and quite bland. Think sugar water with a hint of malt. No bitterness. Smooth light body with some crispness, a bit undercarbonated. Easily passes the inoffensiveness test.

Lubiere (13271) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 29, 2004
Yellow fizzy beer with a head which collapses quickly. Initially skunky when poured, with a grassy aroma with slight apples. Very sharp dry hops, with some sweetness and tin can in aftertaste, very light bodied.

Half liter bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear golden color with a large creamy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of raw grain, floral hops. The taste is sweet malts, corn, a tart grape-like note, green banana. Thin bodied. A little different, at least.
