Straw and alcohol in aroma. Some malt. Sharp yellow colour with a small white head. Sweet end and finish.

Crappy. One of the blendest Latvian beers i tried. Weak maltyness, too carbonated, and no aftertaste, Left almost a full glass

Meh... au moins jai mon tick letton. Du reste, cette bire malte est un breuvage sans histoire et sans grand intrt, quon oublie vite... une pale lager, quoi.

0.5 l bottle. Pours golden with thick white head. Smell is sweetish, grainy. Flavor is malty grains, sweetness and alcohol. Some slight adjunct cabbage-like flavors in the background. Creamy, carbonated mouthfeel. Good and substantial for the style.

0.5l bottle (as Zelta Premium Lager Beer) from Beers of Europe. Clear golden colour with a large white head, fairly smooth but diminishes quite quickly leaving a very thin sliver, some lacing. Not much of an aroma to speak of, light bready, hoppy and malt notes. Taste of lightly sweet malts, hops. Inoffensive but a little bland.

Bottle. Pours an orangish yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is sweet malts with maybe a hint of hops. Flavor is sweet (caramel malts) with a hint of straw from the hops. Also detect a little metallic taste.

Bottle bought at the L.C.B.O. in Ottawa. The color is golden with a white head. The taste is very light of malt and not much of anything else. The one positive thing I can say is that it was refreshing to drink.

Bottle. I dont know how many ounces this is. Pours extremely light yellow, I dont even know if I can call it yellow, perhaps white is a better descriptor. Certainly one of the palest colored beers Ive ever seen. A small compact white head sits on top. Aroma is sweet and malty, slight candy as well. Somewhat beery but certainly better than typical American macros. Flavor is dry and malty with a quick finish. Not too much going on flavor-wise though this isnt really bad. Boring but not horrible.

This beer was ALRIGHT. Not great, not bad, average in pretty much every way. An golden/orange colour with a mediocre head. The aroma is malty and grainy. The flavor isnt very balanced with too much on the sweet side of things. Decent amount of carbonation didnt save the beer from having a watery finish though. A pretty boring beer. But atleast it was drinkable.
