Golden with lively head. Notes of yeast, cardboard, little friuit and caramel. Sweet flavour and no finish.

Not very exciting. not very sweet and the flavor is not very bold at all. Kind of a funny, metallic aftertaste though.

Batch 10072128, if that means anything to anyone. No date on the bottle, though. I'm guessing mine is quite different from some of the others listed. While this is far from excellent, IMO, it's not bad at all, and certainly not as bad as I was expecting. Pours a *really* pale yellow, as in almost white color with a tinge of yellow. Decent head that did okay and there was some decent lacing left down the glass. Smell isn't very strong, but malt with a touch of hops. Taste is also very mild. Definately has malt going on but it's not exactly complex. A bit of a malt aftertaste, albeit a small bit. Mouthfeel is quite full and thick, much more than I was expecting. Drinkability is definately good as I may grab a few more of these next time I'm at the store. I know I have a good source (for the time being), but after reading the other scores, I think if a future bottle had any dust on it I might skip it.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2006 Light amber colored body (for a Lager) with a decent white, foamy head of one finger and very good lacing. Has a weak, hoppy aroma that leads you to a very unexpected and inviting sweet honey, hops, malted barley flavor that is brilliantly smokey. Some more complex flavors are present in the aftertaste. Very good finish in this one... Consistency is a little watery, but not boring. A definitively different Lager. This ones underated if you ask me and a doubly excellent tasting Lager.

Ah, the Legend of Zelta. Nice gold packaging even. I fought through all those dungeons and slayed the monsters with nothing but my sword, boomerang, and some well placed bombs. I even solved a few puzzles and got swords from weird old men. It's too bad the princess turned out to be a skunk.
