Bottled. A red amber coloured beer with a short live whitish head. A fruity dunkel with some caramel and wood. Not as bready as I like my dunkels; the taste instead are a little bit berry like. Lacks length. I’ts different but ok(ish) Hermod (7917) - Vantaa, FINLAND - FEB 28, 2016
50cl bottle from Alko. Poured brown in color with a thick, dense off white head. Nice lacing. Bready malty, toasty with some weak metallic notes.
Flavor has caramel, bready malts, toast and some sweetness. Long caramelly finish. A lovely dunkel, I really like the caramel in the flavor, balancing the beer and just enough sweetness. Will buy more of this motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 16, 2012

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle from Kris Wines.jookos (6789) - FINLAND - APR 30, 2016
Mid brown with a huge head that settled to nothing all to quickly. Nice enough colour though. German maltiness in the aroma but with a nice dryness to it and some yeast, fruit and a little treacle toffee. Flavour is more of the same with strong straw and hay notes giving it a little funk. Dry and earthy finish. Not a big scorer but rather enjoyable.
Bottle, thx sperkku! Brown black. Malty, some chocolate, bready. Ed bodied, smooth, malty some sweet syrupyness. Pretty ok. Good czech mamty brown ale.ClarkVV (6708) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 15, 2017

Dark mahogany with ebony tones, high clarity and a light tan head atop showing moderate retention.
Lots of chocolate and caramel in the nose signifies it’s going to be quite malty. Very light minerality, hints of roast, vanilla and a bit of stale coffee-like oxidation. Not much balance, being basically all base malt-driven with no hop notes or any other acidity to speak of (no dark fruit, melanoidins, etc...). No alcohol noted.
Sweet, rather insipid and not overly balanced. Caramel is sticky and dominant, with vanilla, chocolate and moderate oxidation lingering on the finish. Some light roast attempts to balance but fails miserably. Too sweet, stale and rather lifeless, to boot.
Bottle at ronnies. Aroma is typically bready, brown ale malts, roasty malts. Taste is again very bready, just a big malty beast really.
