Tap at brewery. Pours clear orange with white head. Aroma is piney, lots of sweet malts, caramel, very fresh bread. Taste is malt forward, not hop aggressive, very mellow for an IPA. Overall, okay but wish it was a bit bolder. Sammy (12491) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2015
Amarillo hops makes it oh so drinkable. Lacy orange yelllow. A tad funky aroma but oh so orange taste RRistow12 (918) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Tasted from bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with off white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuits, grapefruit, herbal notes. Taste is moderately sweet with moderate bitterness. Flavors of caramel, toffee, biscuits, pine, herbs, earthy notes. A little citrus. Pretty well balanced. Very good IPA.

"pine resin and earth mixed in the aroma and flavor. not my favorite type of malts for this beer, but is was a decent refreshing ipa. light-medium bodied. amarillo hops are nice, but this is a one trick pony - a session ipa. trade from WI beer mafia!" Sample at the brewpub. Clear copper-amber color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and biscuit malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft. Deep copper with thin white head. Aroma of citrus/floral hops and biscuit/bread. Medium body, moderate hop bitterness, and some Amarillo hop notes. charule (2277) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle from nuplastikk. Poured clear amber with good white head/lace. Aroma danky citrus hop. Light carb med bod. Coating taste of very light resin. jcr (2719) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUL 15, 2014
Bottle. Hazy amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Big aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, toasted bread, grapefruit, pineapple. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, just short of lively carbonation. Pine and resin take a back seat to the citrus qualities of the flavor which is nice. Solid. arnold931 (1263) - Iowa, USA - JUL 14, 2014

Really great American IPA from Ale Asylum. These guys can’t do anything wrong but this one is one of my favorites. Lots of pine with a hint of bubblegum then a very clean finish.
