Pours golden copper with a decent white head. Aroma is superb, bringing softly sweet lemon candy, a beautiful combo of the yeast and the citra hops. Flavor is delicate as well, but delicious tart citrus suggested as the bitter soft hops end on the palate. HuskerTan (2168) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - MAR 27, 2014

A- Caramel, bread, biscuits, sweet, fruits, flowers.
A- Dark orange color, cloudy liquid, off white head.
T- Caramel, bread, citrus, slightly sweet.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bready finish.
O- Lots of caramel and bread and very little bitterness at all. I’m guessing the year or so of age on here lead to this, but still a very impressive IPA. The citrus was pretty minimal but still there. I love Citra hops as well as Belgian Trappist yeast strains to this was a superb combination for me. I’d love to try some of this fresh.

On tap at The Chicago Beer Festival 2014. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavor of bitter hops, biscuit, mango, pineapple, yeast, and pine oil. Finish is earthy hops. wade1point0 (69) - Colorado, USA - MAR 22, 2014
On tap in Madison. Pours amber orange with a nice even head. Smells grapefruit and taste bubbly with fruity bitterness. Good choice for the pitcher.

Smells of hoppy fruit, even sweetness. Great mouthfeel not too carbonated, with bready maltiness. Fantastic hybrid

12 oz bottle from Gennaro in Oak Lawn, IL. Deepish golden color with almost no head. Aroma is booze, some citrus hops and some malt. Taste is kind of malty, caramel sweet to start and then citrus hops come out nicely, with a nice grapefruity taste at the end and lingering mild bitterness. This is an excellent IPA. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Pours a cloudy dark orange. Nice lacing. Sweet. Belgian Yeasty. Fruity. Citrus. Tropical. Light spice. Biscuit. Medium body. Pleasant easy drinking bitterness. Finish is dry. Really tasty. Awesome combination of things going on here. Super enjoyable Belgian IPA. Could have a number of these with ease. MarinEvelyn (854) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Hoppy citrus, fruit, spices, bitter, biscuit aroma. Taste is similar. Very smooth for an IPA. Bitter but not too much very nice comboniation of everything. tmoreau (4289) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2014
12 oz. bottle poured to a Czech-pils glass, showing a clear & bright, copper color, with a nice, bubbles & cream, off white/light tan head, and spots & wavy spray as lacing. The nose started with subtle yeast, then expressive grapefruit, mango, and apricot. The taste was similar notes, with more evident sweetness that lightened but lasted, touches of dank grain, rye toast, pulp, a hint of floral soapiness, and potent, lingering hop bitterness. Medium bodied, with decent carbonation, and some finishing dryness. A little flavor confusion, but not enough to negatively sway me. kaser (6209) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2014
Clear orange color with sticky white head. Had this poured from draft at Jerry's (north) in Chicago. Fruity wheat aroma. Good hops and bitterness. Banana and fruit notes. Smooth tasty IPA
