2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle thanks to Drfabulous. Pours a typical blonde with thick white head. Aroma of biscuit, slight malt, and ever so slight hops. Flavor matches and finishes clean and refreshing. Nothing special, very drinkable. Cool.
Keg at the brewpub, 8/14/16. Hazy golden, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt and mild citrus. The taste is citrus and toasted pale malt. Thin bodied, crisp. MetalNHopHead (2127) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Gold Digger was easily the least impressive thing I had at Ale Asylum. It was the only unimpressive beer I tried. It was consistent with my Wisconsin experience, though. I had 2 Blonde Ales there. They both kinda sucked. Gold Digger is basically a cereal grain bomb. Hardly any hop influence. Fizzy, light-bodied. Every brewery should be allowed one beer that’s designed only to be sold to the masses. True to its name, Gold Digger fills that niche. Christpuncher (3191) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 2, 2015

Nicely light ale with hops a bit more pronounced -- especially in the grassy aroma. One well worth trying again on a hot summer day. Enjoyed on tap at the Ale Asylum tap house. Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium white head that dissipates to a film. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, bready malt and fruit. LIght body with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. 7oz on tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear yellow color, mildly hazy. Thin off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick texture, light dry in the finish. Good mouthfeel to it. Good bready biscuity aroma, hint of lemon citrus, lightly peppery. Light spicy earthy citrus hop. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Solid, satisfying golden ale. Well done. Lemke10 (993) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 3, 2014
On-tap pours a hazy yellow color with a slight white head. The aroma is mild with a nice citrus/lemon aroma. The taste is smooth and light with a bit of a bitter after taste. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 23, 2014
More light and refreshing than anything. It’s pretty balanced between the hops and malt. Smooth and easy drinking.
