Taster tap at the brewery. Let it linger on those taste buds and you’ll get a good spicy kick. It’s a orangish-brown in color, lots of different flavors involved and not too sweet. A good one for sipping.

Tap sample. Poured hazy brown color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium roasted malt and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium spicy sweet flavor with a medium spice sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid brew.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub (Madison, WI). Pours a nice deeper copper hue, some fiery orange, with a frothy offwhite head, dies to a thicker ring, laces ok. Aromas are a touch of yeasty enticing spice, some dark fruit pit cherry, toffee and caramel, faint yeasty spice. Initial is a touch of yeastiness, mellow sweetness pervades with caramel, toffee, breads, a touch of red fruit, yeasty spice, with some light florals, faint bitterness towards the finish. But largely, a sweet brew with a big malty bite. Some light yeasty sweetness and spice

Sample at the brewpub on 10/16/10. Clear copper/brown pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, sugar, banana and spice. Banana flavor with caramel and spices before a sweet finish.

On tap at brewery, pours amber color with white fully head and nice lacing, aroma is full of spices and notes of grass to it, has some alcohol burn in the nose, flavor is flavorful with spices, very nice sipping beer!

draft at the brewery, pours amber white head, nose is very fruity, bubblegum and red fruits. Flavors continue with big fruity profile bubblegum and juicy fruit with spicy yeast undertones. Lively carbonation and easy drinking. Good brew.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours rosy amber with a small white head. Floral hop profile dominates the nose, with a bit of citrus and some nuttiness. Taste is real nutty malt with light spice and a decent grassy hop profile. Syrupy but smooth, with nice carbonation. Not my favorite Ale Asylum offering, but decent nonetheless.

Tap at brewery. Ruby with off-white head. Aroma laden with dark fruit and spicy belgian yeast. Flavors similar with sweet malty presence and some EtOH in the finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Not sure why i never rated this, but i had it today on tap at the Ale Asylum here in Madison: Poured a bright beautiful golden colour with a huge frothy white head. Immediate spices on the nose with yeasy esters overflowing. Taste is smooooooooth, but you can taste a little hotness in the finish. Soft spice again, but flowery notes overdubbing this brew.

Had on tap at the brewpub. It was a bit spicy and slightly overbearing for the style, but really not too bad.
