Bottle. Poured a dark orange. Very smooth and creamy, with a lot of spice. Lived up to the description on the label. More edge and spice when cold, but creamier and still good when warmer. A good showing from Ale Asylum! jewedekind (450) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 24, 2006
Extra points for the name alone! A fair lookig little lassy with a reddish glow. A fruity basket with enough vinous notes for interest. Finishes dry enough to sweep out the fruit leaving a note of brandy. Fine. On my second try was not as good though. MikeHernandez (50) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 1, 2006
Smell of cloves, medium bodied, average carbonation. Can taste cloves, alcohol, and a hint of bread. Fantastic! heemer77 (5355) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - OCT 22, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. The body was light copper colored with a creamy off white head on top. The aroma was lots of banana with some cinnamon. As it warmed I thought it smelled more of bubblegum. The taste was bananas and cinnamon spice. There was a little grassy funk in the finish. This was very drinkable. drpimento (3568) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Poured at a good temperature with a medium size tan head, a little lace, and a clear copper amber color. Aroma is Malt and yEast. Flavor is on the dry side hops really come through. Body is good.

This is a very good beer. Too bad people won't take it as seriously as they should because of the name and the label. rubbishystuff (2521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2015
UPDATED: APR 21, 2017 From B and C. Nice stuff. Fruity, yeasty, nicely spiced. Nice amber color. Serving: Bottle BrewMstr (194) - Pleasant View, Utah, USA - SEP 18, 2015
Draft at milwaukee location. Very smooth, malt forward with a spice finish. Very balanced abbey ale! hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2007
On tap at the Ale Asylum Brew Pub. Poured a deeper amberish / brownish color with a small sized off white head. Had a light haze to it. Aromas of bananas, spices, raisins, plums and some yeast. Tastes of fruits, raisins, caramel, and spices. nuplastikk (6206) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Draft at AA. Amber-brown-red with a steady off-white/beige head. Clean and doughy, shos a little more balance than most American-Belgians. Quite fresh and full bodied, creamy almost nitro mouthfeel. Somewhere between a Belgian amber and brown. A really enjoyable beer. QUite clean and well attenuated for the style.
