Pint served at the brewpub bar the day before the GTOM with a clear, amber/gold color, modest, off white head foam, and web-like lacing. The aroma was perfumey citrus, esp. grapefruit, some sweet fruit, and a bit of resin. The flavor added a nice balance of smooth malt and medium-full hop bitterness that lasted well into the finish. A nicely hopped and sessionable Pale. thetomG (250) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 16, 2010
Clearish golden yellow pour. Decent head with spotty lacing left around the glass. Aroma is excellent - slightly fruity, slightly hoppy. Flavor follows the nose, but is more intense with just the slightest twinge of bitterness finishing things off nicely. Feels just a tad overcarbonated, but other than that is an easy drinker. Not too bitter considering the generous amounts of hops used, this is a beer I could easily have several of in a session.
Tasty, and something I would definitely drink again. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JUL 29, 2010
Poured from bottle, has an unclear amber color with white head, has a great aroma that is full of hops and it tastes just like it smells! Very good beer, one of my favorites in Madison, WI! Peregrinari (148) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 26, 2010

12oz bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Medium off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is moderately orange/grapefruit, light bread. Taste is medium sweet, bread, some grapefruit/orange. Light-medium body, quite drinkable.

Pours a cloudy orange/yellow with a frothy white head. Very nice floral aroma. A "thick" feel of melted caramel on the palate. Hoppy, but not as bitter as expected. I would prefer this a little more bitter, but this IS quite good. If you want hoppy beer with only medium bitterness, this is your brew! doboy (424) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - JUL 13, 2010
Not sure how this appeared in the ole Beer Fridge, but I’ll drink it! Nice floral aroma from the hops, pours a hazy copper color with a nice white lace on the edge. Wish the head had lasted longer. Good fresh hop taste and good bittering on the back side. Full mouthfeel. Wish I had a sixer of it now!!! dwm1034 (786) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 20, 2010

12 oz. bottle shared by shigadeyo. Thanks Craig! Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet pale malt, floral with moderate orange citrus notes. The flavor has a decent mix of malt and hops. Pretty big for a pale ale. Toasted caramel malts with nice citrus hops. Medium bitterness and very drinkable.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2015 Nice fresh hop flavor and aroma. Body almost too thin for the amount of hops, but it still works well. Serving: Draft
