3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2012 On tap at the brewery 11/17, pours a dark copper red with an off white head ad nice lacing in the glass, aroma is more fruity than the Ballistic, nice amounts of tropical fruit and citrus, the flavor has a sweeter frot end and a finish of bittering hops and citrus, some dank hops in this one, almost to a point garlic kind if comes through. Slick mouthfeel, nice.
On tap at Ale Asylum. Hazy fire amber with a creamy tan head. Dank aroma of citrus, pine, caramel and earthy hops. Taste of citrus, pine, sweet malt, caramel and notes of floral hops and alcohol. Strong bitter finish. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Draft at Ale Asylum. I’m really digging this brew. Loads of sweet tropical and citrus fruits and grapefruit along with a decent malt backbone. Very good. Skyview (6093) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
On draught at the Ale Asylum taproom in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear brownish copper colored brew with a creamy off-white head that leaves behind some excellent lacing with some thick coverage. Aroma of both tropical and citrus hops with some light caramel malt backbone. Picking up some Nugget hops here. Taste is medium to full bodied, with more citrus and tropical fruit flavors without the heavy bitterness. Finish is semi-sweet with plenty of citrus hop flavors without the lingering bitterness. arkurzynski (2456) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Copper-amber in color. Aroma is a nice fruity mango and caramel mix with some faint background onion/garlic. Flavor is a mild malty caramel and juicy mango, again, with a faint trail of onion/garlic. Nice medium+ body. Profile going in the right direction, but I’d love to see the hop characteristics dialed up even more. twb0392 (13) - , Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2012
On tap at thr brewery. A little darker in color than the average IPA, with a stong taste and smell of grapefruit. One of my favorite IPA’s; I’ll be back for another.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy amber. This like the LYD #1 has subtle hops but it is extremely drinkable. The hops actually come through more on the finish maybe I just really need a beer but this is tasting really good.
