Tap at Ale Asylum. Deep unfiltered brown-red...quite thick and opaque. Frothy, soapy beige head. Mild chocolate and amber malt tones coupled with a steady, delicate, citrus feel. Really nice deep Amber beer. Fresh, pleasant. Not bitter, the hops add a flowery, tropical touch. A well done beer for sure. MrPickles (438) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 8, 2013
I liked this one more than I thought I would. This one looks darker than expected, but the malt and the hops all come out in this brew. Hope they keep up with the trend of putting out new brews. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 5, 2013
On tap at Ale Asylum. Dark brown with red lowlights and a reddish brown crown. Inviting aroma of dark malts, citrus, caramel and orange. Taste of citrus, blood orange, caramel and some dark malts to boot. Moderate bitterness and rather tasty. akoeninger (762) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 21, 2013
Dark red brown. Sweet citrus aroma. Taste is sweet toffee with a hoppy kick. The citra hops really stand out! Lubiere (13941) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2013
A hazed reddish brown ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with smooth floral hops, roasted notes, well done. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light orange pulp, oily mouthfeel, floral hops, nice. On tap at brewpub, Jan 20 2012.

On draught at the Ale Asylum brewery’s taproom in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy burnt brown colored brew with a creamy beige head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, a hint of citrus and some light dark pitted fruits. Taste is medium to full-bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of malty caramel, some spiced hops and a touch of pomegranate. Finish has a quick and sharp bitterness at first followed by a semi-dry caramel and white pepper aftertaste. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JAN 5, 2013
On tap at Ale Asylum 1/5, pours a murky brownish amber with a nice off white head and lacing through out the entire pint, the citra hops really come through on the nose with a nice backing of malt as well, the flavor has a good hop bite on the front end with some malt and chocolate in the middle and a finish of citrus hops, kind of weird but I still really dig it, not bad at all.
