Dark red-brown pour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, nutty. Taste is nutty, roasted malt, nice malt backbone. Little sweet but not too much. Nice aftertaste. Creamy mouth feel. Very good beer. So-so lacing.

Rich velvety carmely. Luscious. Nutty. Some roasty. Chocolate. Perhaps just a touch of dark fruitiness. Not too dry. Not too sweet either. Fantastic brown ale; one of my favorites. Would make a perfect pairing with chocolatey desserts.

Bottle that I had while visiting the in laws. Caramel is the big element here that really tries to push this brown ale.

Great smooth quality to this beer has a wonderful creamyness to it but really not overly sweet either which i hae experinced in other beers of this style. also not overly nutty as some beers also have. If your brown fan i would highly recommend this one, I know ill be back for more.
