Dark red-brown pour with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, nutty. Taste is nutty, roasted malt, nice malt backbone. Little sweet but not too much. Nice aftertaste. Creamy mouth feel. Very good beer. So-so lacing. pablo951 (682) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2013

Rich velvety carmely. Luscious. Nutty. Some roasty. Chocolate. Perhaps just a touch of dark fruitiness. Not too dry. Not too sweet either. Fantastic brown ale; one of my favorites. Would make a perfect pairing with chocolatey desserts. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 13, 2013
Bottle that I had while visiting the in laws. Caramel is the big element here that really tries to push this brown ale. camborne (656) - Hopkins, Minnesota, USA - MAY 27, 2013
