Deep brown with a thick beige head. Lots of toasty malt and bread dough with some nuts and very light coffee notes. Super smooth and creamy with a nuty finish. Great beer! Lots of malt flavor and extremely enjoyable. Very hard to drink just one, except in my case I only had one beer to drink since I bought a sample pack and was strongly recomended to try this beer. Will buy more of this beer for sure. starewich (170) - - OCT 12, 2012
Cloudy orange-brown. I taste not only the standard nuts, chocolate and caramel but also the grassy hops and hint of corn one might expect from a pilsener. Body is light but the advertised "creamy finish" is there and right on the mark. wlajwl (7065) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Aroma is nutty malts, chocolate, caramel and a hint of spice. The flavor is caramel malts, a hint of chocolate and a mildly tart finish. AWISLguy (3327) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Sampler at the brewpub shared with ck1, thanks bro! Pours brownish red. Aroma has brown sugar and nuttyness. Taste has caramel and brown sugar but in a quite weak fashion. Finishes sweet but short. Nothing bad about it, but nothing to write home about. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - APR 29, 2012
Had this beer at the 4th Annual Casanova Beer Cave Festival. Nice maple scent, pleasant sweet/roast taste.

Bottle thanks arkurzynski! Pours clear brown red with a quick soapy off white head that fades to a film. Aroma has a roasted malt with a little brown sugar (very faint) and slight dried fruit. Taste is oatmeal and figs with roasted malt and a subtle bitterness throughout. Palate is thin slick and finishes chalky. dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 25, 2012
On tap @ Asylum. Pour is brown with a khaki head. Aroma is toasted malt, milk chocolate, nuts, and earth. Flavor shows sweet toffee/caramel and finishes with what seems like a hint of coffee. Overall body is moderate, creamy and finishes with enough balance to make a session beer. hombrepalo (1972) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2012
6oz sample. Pours a clear amber body with a medium cream head. Aroma of toasted grain, nuts, subtle smoke, grass, and maple. Flavor of toast grain, caramel, and light toffee.
