COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Belgian-style Grand Cru is a full bodied winter warmer. A slightly spicy aroma and flavors of dark fruit and caramel are harmonious with the classic Belgian-style finish. Part of our seasonal series, Mercy is available on tap and in six packs at your favorite Wisconsin and Illinois craft beer outlet from December through February-ish.

A pretty solid american take, they are often too spicy or too fruity but this one is nicely balanced.

Bottle. Pours a nice clear dark caramel color. Aroma is weak Belgian spices. Tate is sweet, Belgian spices and yeast. Pretty unimpressive.

Bottle. Clear amber orange pour with a nice sticky white head. Aroma is caramel and dark plum. Nice slick slightly syrupy palate. Taste is decent - dark fruit and yeast, fairly sweet and slightly boozy. Solid beer, but no where near a Rochefort or St. Bernardus quad.

12/18/13 trade from Jamil. Fruity caramel scent. Bronze pour. Medium sticky feel. Fruity pebbles and caramel flavor with a little alcohol burn and a custard sweet finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It tastes like Chimay...if thats the sort of thing youre into. I was hoping it would be a little bit more complex than a malt forward, booze bomb. I have come to trust these guys, and I think this one probably hit their mark, but it snot what I wanted.

Pours amber with minimal off white head. Aroma is spicy and sweet with notes of banana and clove. The taste is moderate to heavy sweet with boozy notes near the finish. Oily with medium carbonation and body. Well rounded beer.

Sweet smelling. Banana smell. Medium orange in color. Lots if flavor. Hints if banana with a rich caramel yeast flavor. Really tasty. Slightly expensive at $12 a sixer, but worth it. Buy it before its gone.

On tap at the old brewpub. I always want to pick some of this to age and it is always gone before I do. Big sweet, and boozy, what else do you want?!? :)

caramel, chocolate, deep brown color with no head, medium sweetness, thick feel, full body - this is one of my favorite beers from a too overlooked brewery. If you have the chance to try this on tap or in bottles dont hesitate. Just a bit sweet and not roasty at all, this beer is begging for a snifter.

Bottle pours burnt orange/amber with an off-white head. Aroma shows notes of dried fig, raisin, caramel, and light spice. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of date, clove, and a touch of earth. Overall body is moderate and the finish is a little boozy.
