Poured from the bottle of the six pack lots of nice hops in here, this stuff goes down fast with sticky fruit, doesn’t taste like a plus 8%, really good.

October 17, 2015 - sample via bottle at Barrels and Bacon. Orange pour with limited head. Piney bitter and sweet malt aroma and taste.

Draft at milwaukee location. Very nice balance of malt and hops for a DIPA at 8+ ABV!

Super malty and sweet ipa. Had a 12 oz bottle pour at kasers. Slight hoppy finish. Pours copper with a cream head. Awesome beer.

The variety of flavors I detected surprised me. I expected the hops but this beer is way more than just your average over-hopped amber. Nice malt balance, great color, the hop presence was undeniable yet seemed perfectly balanced by this substantial brew. I enjoyed it on tap at the Ale Asylum brewery last year. It’s a couple of hours from my house but if it’s on tap I’ll be there.

Really dark color. Lots of resin and pine. Some sweetness but very bitter. Darker hop flavor. Reminds me a little of a DFH 90. Nice full body IPA.

Bottle. Nice rich aroma that smells like an American Strong. Murky dark orange body with a thin off white head. Sweet but not cloyingly so. Quite frankly wonderful. Warming.

This one has a bite to it, but in a good way. You know you’re drinking a DIPA. Lots of pine and grass on the nose, follows onto the palate. A bit of resin and floral notes follow. Pretty complex, and worth trying if in Madison.

One of the best ipas I’ve ever had. And that’s saying a lot from an Oregonian. Will crave this back home.
