Really nice double IPA has all the hoppy goodness that you pay for when purchasing a double or imperial IPA. great use of centennial hops and pleanty of them! Lubiere (13898) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 16, 2013
A reddish amber I2PA with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with good citrusy hops, floral and resinous with citrus pulp, nice. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with floral and resinous hops, well balanced, grassy notes, Cointreau, warming alcohol, nice. Tasted with GRM March 1 2013. islay (2734) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Ale Asylum Satisfaction Jacksin. 12 oz. bottle, consumed on 3-7-13. Pleasant, floral, sweet aroma features apricot, toffee, dry hops, biscuit, shortbread, brown sugar, rose, and light urine scents. Pours a clear copper with a reddish hue and a small to moderate amount of gold-taupe head. Light effervescence in the liquid. Some haze that creates a sable/leather appearance. Sweet, fruity, juicy start with a dry finish. Mineral water, brown sugar, apricot, and lemon elements. Excessively sweet. Parching, dry aftertaste. Easy to drink for the style. Medium body (light-bodied by the standards of the style). Soft in the palate. Mostly pleasant but not particularly strong (subpar, in fact) for this, perhaps my favorite style. 7/4/6/3/13=>3.3 tricyclist (1125) - Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2013
Nice sample pour of mild amber with full white head. Nose is citrus and grapefruit with mild candy sweetness, maybe mango and some tropics. Flavor is super smooth, citrus and bitter, but not too sharp. Somewhat balanced... Some mango but less than the nose. Mild medium body. Not bad at all. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Draft at Ale Asylum. I’m really diggin this beer. Loads of caramel malt for a stiff backbone and a whole bunch of citrus, grapefruit and orange zest for the hops. Brought a growler home. Awesome.

Yum, this is a nice beer. On draft at Bodega in LaCrosse, WI. Dark clear amber with a nice white head, lots of lacing. Pine in the nose. Taste is citrus and pine with honey and molasses sweetness. Reminds me a bit of hopslam, but more mellow. Really nice! MrPickles (438) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Love this beer. Either from the bottle or from a tap it is great. Seems to take a bit of flack and I am not sure why. This is one of my favorite brews from AA. starewich (170) - - NOV 2, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 8, 2012 Medium body. Sour apple, piney hops, MAJOR caramel, amaretto, a hint of salt, and some pleasant booze. Nice, though somewhat on the soapy side and more typical of the style than usual from Ale Asylum. OnWisconsin (132) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 30, 2012
Pours a dark golden to orange color with very little head. Aroma was earthy hay and simple for an IPA. Taste was very similar with the aroma followed by alcohol at the end. An earthy IPA with no hints of any sweet fruits. A nice mild mouthfeel. Overal, an ok average beer. Was hoping for more.
