Bottle from the cellar. Still boozy and sweet, but I kinda like that. I can see where this could be a love or hate beer. For me it is on the upper end.

drdisque (838) - Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2017
On tap at Haywood in Chicago. Pours cloudy pale gold, like a hefe. Aroma is spice and esters. Flavor is sweet, with a bit of spiciness and some booze on the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit watery and flat. Somewhat of a crude beer, but not bad.

Drake (13728) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 20, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Hazy orange, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, nutty notes, dry lemon, orange. The taste is bready malt, candi sugar, orange, candied orange, nutty notes. Medium bodied. Nice. A bit rustic.

I smell yeast and banana and perhaps a little mango, the color is a hazy straw yellow. I taste a whole lot of sweet with very little/no hoppyness. @ room temperature it is substantial in the mouth, otherwise a little thin. For the most part another solid beer from Ale Asylum

This came off as bland. To out in context the recent other Tripel I’ve had was by Unibroux and it was damn good. The flavors are muted and I agree with another user that it tastes like an "Ale+".

Seriously, this one was just meh. It looked nice and had a bit of nice notes and flavors -- mostly yeast and light fruit. But it tasted more like a tarted up ale. I was expecting something a bit more, maybe chewy, thicker, more flavor.

Draft at the source. Crystal clear yellow color. Aroma of straw. Taste us sweet boozy straw.

ryanfolty (2545) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - AUG 3, 2015
August 3, 2015 - on tap at brewery. Clear golden pour with some head. Fruity, alcohol and spice in aroma. Taste was nicely balance with the fruit, alcohol and spice.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2016 From BandC. Oh, not bad but as the missus said a little ham fisted in execution. Serving: Bottle

Bottle. Mostly clear golden orange pour with minimal head. Getting some rotten banana in the aroma and taste. A touch of garbage juice. I don’t think this bottle is super-fresh, but its not terribly old either, and I wouldn’t expect a little age to beat-down a tripel.
