Almost mahogany in color with an off-white head. Nose is heavy on the rye, molasses, and toffee maltiness. Some floral and earthy hops, a bit of pine, and a mild roast note. Flavor has a moderate bitterness to go with a strong malt profile of molasses, toffee, and rye. Hints of chocolate and roast, floral, earthy, and piney hops to add some balance. bhensonb (15739) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2010
