Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Tart and cherry aroma with malt. Cherry and tart/light sour flavor with malt. Medium bodied. Cherry and tartness lingers with light sour notes, malt, and light darker malts. Stout characteristics in bakground. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 18, 2012
On draft at Tap 25. It pours dark brown with almost no head. The aroma is very chocolaty with potent cherry, funk and barrel. The flavor is big sweet cherries with some nice backing funk, sour wine, barrel and chocolate. The tartness from the lacto blends beautifully with the sweet cherries and chocolate. The finish brings out more wine barrel tannins and toasty brett. The carbonation is very light and is probably my only complaint since I love everything else about this beer. Great job guys!
