Tasted on 2/813 at the SF beer week opening celebration. The full batch now called The Unity, as in Edward finally gets released on 2/9/13. This one seems to be rounding into form nicely. It pours a clear gold/orange with a white head. The aroma is very sour and lactic with low but perceptible funk and bright peaches. Good balance. The flavor is beautiful tart peaches with some crackery and almost cookie like malt near the finish. Barrel influence comes across as a touch of coconut and vanilla. Finishes very tart and lemony. Really nice sour. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - JAN 4, 2013
