Appearance: Deep brown. Finger of tan foam.
Nose: sweet malt. Roasty nuts. Chocolate. Elements of cream like in a milk stout
Taste: Sweet malt. Rich roasted cereal and nut character. Alcohol evident
Body: medium to thinner with good carbonation
Parting thoughts: quite a big imperial stout. Very nice flavors.

Pours a dark brown color with a sweet chocolate aroma. Taste is roasted malt, with semi sweet chocolate. Roasted bitterness in the aftertaste, it lingers well after the swallow. Tmoney99 (14601) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 31, 2016
Bottle given by alexsdad06. Poured dark brown color with an small frothy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted dark chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy dark toasted sweet flavor with medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer. slowrunner77 (12136) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 5, 2016
A decent imperial Porter with a nose of brownies and dark bitter roast. Flavor is bittersweet with an abrupt finish. Not elite, but nice. alexsdad06 (10471) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2016
12 oz bottle at home. Pours dark brown to black in color with a medium sized, creamy beige head. The aroma and flavor have a nice chocolate character, mild roasted malts, some sweetness, dark fruits, cocoa, a hint of coffee and vanilla, interesting enough beer.

Dark brown/black color; Heavy creamy body; Aroma of toasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, & some vanilla; Flavor of roasted sweet malt, dark chocolate/cocoa, some caramel, and coffee; Nicely balanced; Solid. edwardbass (845) - Illinois, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Roasty grains, dark chocolate and dark dried fruit on the aroma. Taste is booze, roasted grains, a tiny bit of dark chocolate and a lot of that dark dried fruit, which makes it cloyingly sweet to me. I get some nice hops far in the background. It is an Imperial, after all, so not too surprising, but it’s odd how my experience differs so much from the norm. tmoreau (4420) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - SEP 29, 2015
12 oz. bottle poured to my sampler glass at the 2015 Lakeshore Beverage Trade Show in Chicago, showing a black/brown hue, with a touch of ruby highlighting, fluffy, brownish tan head froth, and foamy spots of lacing. The nose was mellow, but even keeled roastiness, with soft, grainy maltiness, and cocoa notes. The taste was a balanced progression of the aroma, with just touches of sweetness & creaminess, adding moderate, roasted & earthy bitterness, with noticeable alcohol woven in, thus producing a nice drinkability for an 8% brew. Liked it! asaphelps1 (13) - - MAY 27, 2015
Damn good porter, this has a great roasted maltiness and very nice mouthfeel. Just enough sweetness is left behind to balance the roast.
