Draught at Fiebre de Malta. Dark brown, small beige head. Chocolaty nose with some faint grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Cocoa and mild grapefruity hops. Long bitterish finish. Thoroughly well made beer, albeit very light for a black IPA
3oz sample at Cervefest 2016. Dark with a reddish hue and a small brown head. Disgusting aroma and taste. Bitter acidic aftertaste. Drain pour. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2015
Medium brown, frothy head. Woody, slightly citrusy hop, lots of toasty malts. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 10, 2013
A reddish copper ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, butterscotch malt with no hops, like an Irish red. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with fruity notes, burned caramel, herbal hops, so-so. On tap at Fiebre de Malta, March 29 2013.
