BD Clap J. Choc milkshake aroma - not getting the jaffa. Oil black. Biege head soon retreats to just ring the glass. Sweet - a stab of bitterness - more sweetness. Starts of chocolatie, the jaffa comes through in the finish. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Does not overdo the sweetness.

October 2016 - Keg at Brewdog Shepherd’s Bush as ’Alechemy / BrewDog Dundee Chocorange is the New Black’. Opaque black, foamy off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is cocoa, plain chocolate, coffee bean. Body is light, soft carbonation, smooth. Taste is cocoa, plummy, light coffee, floral finish with some more dry cocoa. Nice. Not getting loads of orange - maybe just a hint. (3.7)

Reddish brown beer with a thin head. Aroma is light chocolate and bitter orange. Taste is similar. Bitter orange, creamy chocolate, a tart hoppiness, toast, toffee. Manages to have distinct elements of a creamy stout and a lighter, paler, fruitier beer.

Keg, Brewdog Leicester. Very dark red brown with a cream foam. Earthy roast coffee with dark chocolate and toffee. Spicy with background oranges. Hints of bonfire smokiness. Dry finish. Another good one.

Leighton (22820) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2016
Keg at BDSB - London. Pours black-brown with a creamy, khaki head. Mild roast in the nose, some chicory, cocoa, raisins. Light to medium sweet flavour with notes of baking cocoa, scorched earth, old berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced to close, with more ashy roast, bittersweet chocolate, dried and leathery berries, raisins, some woody dryness. Lingering ashy bitterness in the aftertaste. Good overall.

weordie (1472) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2016
Pours brown with a thin head. It has a strong coffee aroma. Some coffee and orange in the flavour but not much else.
