Bottle from Oddbins Mitchell Street (Glasgow). Pours a cloudy amber, with a light frothy head which fades to lacing.
Nose is mainly hops (resinous, metallic), with a wee bit of malt underneath. Palate is well balanced between bitter hops, light sweet malt, and fruity notes. Finish is very bitter, and fairly long.
I’ve had this beer on draught, and I don’t think the bottled version is quite as good - but still very decent mind you. larsga (7539) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 1, 2016
Big offwhite head. Clear amber body. Resiny fruity wine grape aroma with pineapple notes. Dry-sweet tropical fruit and resin taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny tropical fruit aftertaste with plastic and spice notes. Maybe it would have been better fresh. (0.5l bottle, from odd bins, Edinburgh.) October 19, 2013 - gravity cask at Cask Days 2013. Hazy orange-gold with a decent frothy off-white head. Interesting aroma - citra with plenty of citrus juice, plenty of sharp acidity - I guess that’s the zest - very nice. Taste follows, juice for days, not a lot of alcohol presence, not overly sweet, nice little bit of background hop dankness. Average chewy body, sticky, astringent, weakly carbonated, with a medium length zesty lightly pithy bitter finish (4-) - very nice one, a good drinker. Keg at Carriers Quarters Leith. Pours an orangey shade of golden yellow (rose yellow?) with a slight white head which quickly vanishes. Aroma is sweet oranges and tropical fruits. Taste is sweet oranges/marmalade, slightly earthy, modestly bitter with a subtle sweet malt character.

Bottle from Hippo Beers in Glasgow. Pours golden and sparkling with a frothy white head. Pleasant citrus aroma. The taste is bitter with plenty of citrus and underlying caramel. Tasty if a little unremarkable. KansaiBeerLvrs (5152) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 15, 2015
Alchemy citra burst IPA 5.4% pours a clear deep gold with a rich hoppy nose of light grapefruit and citrus zest. Full bodied with a velvety mouthfeel. The taste is bitter citrus biscuits or porridge. Rich and filling stuff. Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 17, 2015
