Cask at the Bow Bar. Light chocolate, quite fruity and sweet, little thin in the body. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Salmon Leicester 29/11/12. A black beer with a tight whitish head. Coffee and some sour mash in the nose. Sour berry fruits with roasty malts and coffee in the mouth. The sourness is quite vinegary and therefore off-putting. MalcolmTucker (924) - SCOTLAND - DEC 3, 2012
Cask at Stockbridge Tap. Standard stout appearance. Inviting roasty aroma. Coffee, chocolate, plums and berries all present in the flavour. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and drinkable stout. leaparsons (10502) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2012
Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Dark brown with a firm cream head. Aromas are blackberry with dark cherry and roast malts. Dark chocolate with floral notes and some plumminess. Flavours are sweet and sour berries with lemon and earthy notes. Underlying coffee and dark chocolate bitterness with yeast. There is a basic smoothness which may be the oatmeal. An interesting brew. cgarvieuk (24166) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 14, 2012

Cask in the Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Black, thick white head. Quite a smooth drinking stout, nice texture as often from the oats, quite restrained in terms of roasted or bitter flavours. Pleasant but not overly exciting. JohnRMurdoch (4828) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 12, 2012
