Cask at the Vanbrugh, Greenwich. Gold pour with a white head. Spice, grapefruit, bitter lemon, nelted butter in the nose. Flavours of grapefruit, splash of vanilla, lemon sherbet. Bitter finish. Not bad.

Pale golden beer, white head. Mellow citrus aroma so it caught me out when it’s quite tart and tangy in the mouth. A bit too much for me on that front, a borderline sour. Not for me.

joe19612 (2995) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2016
Bottle. Pours a light gold colour with a thin white head, aroma is light and hoppy with hints of orange, the taste is light bitterness with a dry bitter finish.

Towey1989 (3040) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2016
Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of tart lemon, slight orange, subtle grapefruit, a little liquorice, wheat and some spicy hops. Taste of lemon, orange, slight grapefruit, a little liquorice and spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, slightly citrusy, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Wasn’t sure at first but came more citrusy and spicy further through the half. Good hoppiness and flavourful for a 3.8. Decent.

Evilkniamhel (1025) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 16, 2016
Cask at Cloister’s Bar. Clear golden in colour. Nose of barnyard, funk and wheat. Dry on the palate with some citrus fruit.

Gravicask (PBF2013, Wednesday)
Light pale grain aroma, bready. Some light citrussy hops. Nicely citrussy in the taste. A simple golden ale, but not incipid. A good balance of malts and hops. And the drinkability is top - it’s gone!

Stuu666 (14187) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 13, 2014
Cask at SRAF. Pours pale yellow, nose is light orange taste is light spicyness, fruity.

Scopey (15268) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 26, 2014
Cask at Ushers. It pours hazy pale gold with a tiny white head. The nose is soft, fresh, light lemon, grapefruit and light sweetness. The taste is soft, grainy, dough, lemon, grapefruit, light spice and straw with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot to it. Simple.
