On tap at mash tun festival. Pour is murky red/brown with a small white head. Aroma is toasty, woody, fruity. Draft at Jerry’s. Enjoyed on tap at Rockwell’s in Chicago, IL while picking up some delicious burgers. Happy to have found this one! Appearance is a cloudy dark brown / red with a thin white head. Aroma very light with obvious fruit and wood notes, can definitely sense a heavy ABV brew. Taste is pretty good, goes down dry with a nice bitterness, more malty than hoppy, rich carbonation, caramel cherry and chocolate notes. There’s a bunch going on with this one, enjoyable stuff.
