Bottle at Chriso Snow Tasting, thanks to Chris I think, 20/01/13. Mid golden with a thin off white head that doesn’t stick around. Nose is pale malt, light piss, smoke, wood. Taste follows, light sourness, burnt toffee, wood, smoke. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Very average.

Bottle 500ml. @ ChrisO Snow Tasting.

Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, cheese, sour - smelly feet. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, oxidide, malty, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130120]

Leighton (22327) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2013
Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Pours perfecly clear, yellow-gold with a weak, white foam head. Sugary pale malt aroma. Lightly oxidised malt flavor with notes of faint caramel and bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish, some sugary bread. Interesting aged beer characteristics in here, but other than that it’s not great.

500ml bottle ([email protected])
Roasted chestnuts aroma - but Anna gets mushrooms. Smooth, OK carbonation. A bit messy. Tastes a bit old and stale.
