Bottle 105/433 @ Summer Gathering, Ulfborg. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are bourbon, vanilla, fruits, caramel and malt. Vinous and slightly acidic. Well balanced. yngwie (17109) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 18, 2012
Bottle, 75cl, at TFODRBSG-12. A clear-looking dark brown beer topped by a small, light beige head. Vinous, oxidized aroma with roasted notes and some caramel. Dried fruits, something fruity-sourish too. Full-bodied, warming, soft and velvety on the palate. Something sourish in the mouth, with dried fruits and something chocolatey and roasted. Hints of vanilla in the far back. Warming towards the end, with roasted malts, dried fruits, a wonderful sourness and a fine sweetness. Certainly a nice one, pity a beer like this isn’t a regular. 120818 Plovmand (8534) - Grindsted, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2012
Bottle 105 of 455 bottles made! Thanks a bunch Jan!!! Pours hazy deep deep deep amber with a medium beige creamy head. The aroma has huge bourbonic notes like vanilla and oak. Bisciuts, loads of malt, sweetness and a slight welcoming sour hint. The flavour has huge malty and oaky notes. Vanilla, light cocoa, malt, light hops and is overall very ripe fruity and vinous. This is a plain fantastic BA BW! Rasmus40 (21475) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2012

Shared at daknole tasting. Pours a murky brown, aroma is earthy, smokey, cocoa, and some dark fruit. Taste is very similar with a little bite upfront. Interesting and good. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 5, 2012
[Rating 3,000!!!] Bottle... Poured deep, dark brown with a thin head. This was intense. A hint of infection but this imperfection really worked well here. Nose came off phenolic, almost reminded me of peat in scotch. Taste wise, mild acidity, tart berry-like fruits, vanilla, other dark fruits, and a bit sweetness. Still a bit boozy. Big time notes of oak and whiskey as well. jcwattsrugger (12506) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2012
Thanks Ibrew2or3-750 bottle-pours an off white head with bubbles and brown color. Aroma is medium malt-leather, earthy, cocoa, dark fruit. Taste is slight vinegar up front, medium malt-leather, earthy, cocoa, dark fruit. douglas88 (9515) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 5, 2012
Bottle shared by ZX6Chris at Toronado, thanks! Pours a murky brown/red color with a small white head. A sweet rich nose of caramel and dried fruit, light sour edges. The flavor is a battle between a solid rich BW with caramel and toast, fruity, dry, but the tartness gets in the way without helping much. Both flavors are disjointed. Light bourbon. Quite good, would have been amazing without the sourness. xpimptastikx (103) - Austin, Texas, USA - FEB 21, 2012
A - dark amber, rootbeer, thin sheet of khaki head.
S - cherry, toffee, vanilla, oak.
T - dark fruits, caramel, light sourness lingers.
M - medium body, light carbonation, slight sour and tannic finish.
O - A really interesting "intentional" infection that worked very well. It was actaully one of my favorites at a bottle release tasting.
