Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, creamy head. Aroma of burnt caramel. Sweet and full bodied with velvetty softness. Roasty and very malty with spun sugar and lots of toffee. Warming and vast in character. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2007
(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Pours a slightly hazy, orangey brown with a dense, light brown head leaving some lacework. Fat aroma of overripe fruit and hops. Surprisingly this isn’t overly full-bodied. Intense aromas of raisins and overripe fruit and then classical accents of American aroma hops in the finish. Good but not outstanding. 280907 madmitch76 (24980) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2010 4th October 2008. Imperial Evil Dead Red edition! Cloudy dark brown beer with a frothy tan head. Thick chocolatey malt start leading in to a sweet and sour mid with more chocolate and some fruit. Lingering sour brandy tones in the aftertaste. Complex and tasty. cgarvieuk (24788) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 3, 2007
Bottle at Toms Ultimate Glasgow Tasting ... Ruby colour ... Typical american sharp hop nose... sweet caramel with lots of pine and toffee... Koelschtrinker (20585) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUL 6, 2011
Getestet beim LCRBM
Hopfiger, stark würziger Antrunk, vermischt mit dezenter Süße. Der malzige Ton scheint vorerst noch zurückhaltend und legt erst nach dem Auftreten eines herben Tons so richtig los. Zuletzt süßer. Leckere Mischung.
