: Dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma is nutty with some light coffee. Flavor is mild black coffee with a hint of nuttiness. Medium body is smooth with light carbonation. An awesome variation of AleSmith’s already fantastic Nut Brown Ale.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
1/2 pint glass at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head that has fair retention. Aroma of coffee and coffee grounds. Taste is likewise dominated by the coffee, but its a mellow mocha type coffee, also filling in the back and sides are some well roasted walnuts and pecans. The palate is full and creamy with soft carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering coffee. Overall: Decent and tasty--went down easy too. I was surprised to learn that this was not a speedway variation.
