Don’t spend this Single Awareness Day alone – grab a beer! This red-blooded cousin of Evil Dead Red Ale, our Halloween Brew, is a beautiful crimson color. Notes of caramel, toast, and bittersweet chocolate balance an intense bouquet of floral hop aromas that we know you’ll fall in love with. The finish leaves a pleasant, full-bodied sweetness on the palate that won’t spread angry rumors about you to all your friends like that one time when I was…ohh…uhh…Happy Valentine’s Day!

Pours a dark amber with a white foam head. Aroma is biscuit, toast, nut, and caramel. Flavor is similar, somewhat dry. Has some carbonation and a medium body. Pretty good.

while boom boom poops, the soils goops! Behold ye a strange and fortuitous brew! One that is bloody when so is you! The smell is round, malty, oaty, rucksack. The appearance is darkest cherry soda. The taste is a mix of heavy dump malt, burnt caramel, and the thin fountain cherry soda. Rather pleasant if unremarkable. Good for a Dinner for Breakfast, Sexy tied off halter top, Green poop celebration kinda eve.

Pours dark amber from the bottle. The head is thick and frothy. Aroma is a mix of caramel and red berry. An interesting mix that works, unfortunately, more nauseating than pleasant for my taste. Taste is very sweet up front, turning tart, then finishing with a dry, mild bitterness. Finishes warm and lightly alcoholic. Body is thick and rich. Overall a wonderfully complex but ultimately cloying effort that fails to grow on me.

March 12, 2015 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs and mabel - bomber. Looks perfect - bright and deep ruby with a large lasting tan creamy head. Pale ale aroma with light rye and extra roast - lush, and a bit acidic. Taste is like a drier ESB with some resin bitterness, a little sweet but the bitterness increases. Slick, light, airy, medium finish - a bit of a black IPA linger - mild roast and green resin bitterness. Decent.

Dark amber almost brown with a fizzy light tan head. Toffee/caramel, toasted and hoppy arola. Taste of dries fruit, caramel, hops and sweet bread.

Very strong Amber taste. A bit too strong for me, but it has a nice dark color and a sweet bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brought back from San Francisco by my son - thanks! Hazy, tea-colored pour, bone colored head, nice lacing. Aroma has a very solid sweetness to it with some juicy fruit gum candy-like notes. Solid flavor, some caramel sweetness, hints of cherry fruitiness. light underlying citrus bitterness, Thick, creamy mouthfeel. Solid amber ale, as expected from Alesmith.
