ABV: 5.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty coffee, light nutty, leather notes. Initial flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter, middel flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter, finish flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, coffee, dry, sweet nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

From tap at the brewery. Pours clear and golden amber with a liht tan head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight malty. Light citric and malty flavour yet with a nice fruity note. Smooth and fresh into the finish. Fruity lingering finish. Nice one.

Draft at the brewpub. A deep red bee with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel and a touch of hops, while the flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel.

Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, caramelly, some mild toasted notes as well as some wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is the same, but also has some slight ripe fruits to it. Smooth and tasty.

CBC Red Session. Keg. Cloudy deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Light caramel malts, mild dried fruits. Modest pine hops. Dry finish. Not too bad.
On tap. Dark brown with a creamy beige head leaving laces. Medium body, sweetish roasted malts, nuts and brown sugar. Very subdued bitterness. 080709
