AleSmith Nut Brown is a tribute to one of our favorite British styles. Deep mahogany in color, its rich, malt-forward flavor profile balances notes of biscuit, mild cocoa and earthy hops. A creamy mouthfeel and full body enhances its drinkability, making Nut Brown an extremely sessionable ale that embodies our commitment to quality.

This is a good brown, dry and smooth. Good roasted flavor. Probably one of the best browns ive ever had.

Large bottle shared with my son. A dark brown beer with moderate tan head and faint nutty nose. Sweet and pleasantly nutty. Low bitterness. Mouth feel is thin. Not my favorite style, but one of the better brown ales I've had. 3.6

Bomber, 2017 edition. Cocoa aroma with notes of caramel, biscuit, earthy hops and some nutty characteristics. Pours dark caramel brown colored with a thin light brown head that has some retention and lacing. Starts with cocoa, caramel and some biscuity malt flavors. Finishes smooth with earthy hoppiness and nutty flavors that linger nicely on the palate. Really nice brown.

From bottle in Belgian ale glass. Pours brown with thin head and aroma of roasted malt and some nuttiness. Smooth drinking with a fairly dry finish. The nut element is not overdone as it sometimes can be. Solid.

Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (Convention Centre), Vancouver
Red-brown color. More earthy than nutty, some cardboard, very dry, which seems the best solution in this case. Correct bitterness.
Nice, a bit boring for me. Gets better as I drink more of it.

Bottled 355ml (Beergium)
Ruby-dark amber colour, small steady beige head and some lace. Light cocoa and caramel in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Flavour has caramel, cocoa and like they say, earthy hops. Feels also somewhat musty. Like they all do when you buy them from European webshop ...

josanguapo (1863) - SPAIN - AUG 22, 2017
From Miguel. In Teku glass. After dinner. Excellent nose, nutty all along, but pretty worse in mouth: less nuts, slight acidity, too much neutralish bitterness and bothering carbonated feel. Low on foam
