COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
AleSmith Nut Brown is a tribute to one of our favorite British styles. Deep mahogany in color, its rich, malt-forward flavor profile balances notes of biscuit, mild cocoa and earthy hops. A creamy mouthfeel and full body enhances its drinkability, making Nut Brown an extremely sessionable ale that embodies our commitment to quality.

This is about as close to an English-style Brown as you can get without making a trip across the pond. Dark brown color; it takes on a reddish glow in direct light. Malty nose. Cocoa and hazelnut flavors followed by mild earthy, tea-like hops. Rich feel and low bitterness. Does AleSmith make any style of beer that isn’t worth drinking? Guess not.

Brown amber robe without foam. Nose of coffee, smoke and a bit of hazelnut. Light body with thin sparkling bubbles. Finish is soft and a bit nutty. Quite balanced and enjoyable, maybe a bit too watery for me. Way more refined than the Rogue one, but the nut is also more discreet.
