Sampled at the Cambridge, black color with medium beige head and random lace. Nose is cookie dough, cocoa nibs, and rich coffee. Flavor is about the same with some coffee and cream, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and and syrup. Light bodied for the series. Alright kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - SEP 18, 2017
The coffee can really make a difference in this beer. The local roast adds a citrus brightness that I think clashes with the smooth cocoa and vanilla. I'll restate after some aging. Homer321 (5168) - Melboring, Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2017
Bottle to glass. Light cocoa and moderate coffee. Tatse is more intense than aroma. Solid profile overall. The coffee and cocoa are more prominent than the vanilla. Stoned99 (1649) - St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 9, 2017
750ml bottle shared at epic Cantillon tasting. Aroma: raw cocoa, light vanilla, subtle cinnamon, light tobacco. App: dark black with beige head leaving beautiful lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, creamy, medium sweetness, light to moderate bitter finish. Overall: typical Speedway stout mouthfeel. Cocoa is a bit too intense on the nose. Anyway. Great beer. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 6, 2017

Black color, small brown head. A bit too roasty, and that highlights the alcohol, hints of liquorice too.
Good but it's not down my alley.
Draft. This is a boozy but well-put together stout, big boozy malt presence, chocolate, and coffee. j12601 (13033) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 2, 2017
On tap at Draught. Pours a deep cola black with a thin tan head. Big roast on the nose, vanilla and chocolate, cocoa. A bit thicker than medium bodied. Smooth roast, chocolate, cocoa, roast and a nice coffee bite. Long roast, chocolate, cocoa. Big and chewy chocolate. Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 31, 2017
Draught, Rogue Convention. Dark brown, no head on this pour. Sweet...the vanilla is prominent though I would say reasonably integrated with the coffee and milk chocolate notes. Lots of alcohol heft, but sugars and bitterness to balance. This seems to have all the elements on the palate, so harmonious and pretty good for a vanilla stout. beerplace (1958) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 24, 2017
Taster at Rogues Convention Center during the Alesmith Canadian Sales start event with Slack guys. Pours an almost black with a beige head. Aroma is really nice with coffee, cocoa and vanilla notes. Taste is AMAZING with lots of cocoa, vanilla and coffee notes. So good! Winner of the night! Excellent! fiery1 (1587) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 24, 2017
Draught @ Rogue Convention Centre. Pours an opaque black with a tiny beige head. Nose is vanilla and chocolate fudge. Flavour is a nice mix of coffee, vanilla, and dark unsweetened chocolate fudge.
