COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Originally created for the popular 3-Day Speedway Grand Prix event in our Tasting Room, this variation of our year-round Imperial Stout features vanilla beans from Madagascar and Papua New Guinea, cocoa nibs from Brazil and Madagascar, and locally roasted Colombian coffee from Swell Coffee Co. This beer balances the aromatic quality of the vanilla beans, the nuttiness of the cocoa nibs, and the earthy, fruity notes of the coffee with the roasty, chocolatey flavors of our Imperial Stout.

Not fair to drink this after a Founder CBS!. Nice thick coffee. Vanilla is present but not in any kind of sweet icing way. Really nice vanilla coffee stout. Harsh from cocoa nibs.

Pours deep brown with a tan head. The aroma has rich chocolate, brown sugar, smooth roast and coffee. It has a full body with mild carbonation. The taste has lots chocolate, both milk and dark aspects along with coffee and speedway heavy roast. Really nice.

750ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of vanilla, cocoa nibs, roasty malts, hops, toffee and earthiness. Taste is smooth and sweetish with loads of roastiness, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and chocolate. Finish is sweetish and roasty with loads of coffee, vanilla, cocoa and chocolate. Slightly sweeter than the regular version, quite a lot of vanilla and cocoa here.

Draught at Ale Arsenal. Really enjoyable with the coffee playing out greater than the cocoa. To me, many of the varietals do not live up to the original. But solid.
