On Tap, all the things we love about speedway with a medium hot pepper finish. Sammy (12359) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 17, 2014
On tap at The Tasting room. I like chile peppers, and the heat it gives in beers. Totally worked for a stout, bring on the heat. Up front heat. Leighton (21511) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2013
Draft at Hamilton’s Tavern - San Diego. Pours deep brown-black with a creamy beige head. Dark chocolate in the nose, hints of chilli spice, mild roast. Medium sweet flavor, more dark chocolate , hints of peppery heat, dirt, baking cocoa. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. The chilli pepper heat really kicks in during the finish. Lots of burn in the throat, some bitter dark chocolate, moderate roast. The heat is intense but it goes well with the dark chocolate character. Draft at the brewery speedway grand prix. Pitch black pour, with a small tan head. Dark chocolate, spicy mole, peppers, quite hot, and roasted malt. Decent for what it is, but I don’t enjoy hot beers too much. mcberko (18082) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 9, 2013
On tap at AleSmith, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium chilli, a little roast and coffee lingering. Flavour brings out spicy chilli notes upfront - pretty potently - with undercurrents of cocoa and coffee. Pretty damn spicy! But it wonderfully accentuates the Speedway base beer. Great stuff.

Pours a pith black with a tan head. Aroma is of chili pepper, roasted malts, coco, and coffee. Taste is spicy pepper, bakers coco, roasted malts, and some earthiness. Has a medium full body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a spicy, semi bitter, long finish. Overall, a pretty nice pepper imp. stout. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 7, 2013
Tap at Alesmith for Speedway Grand Prix. Excellent inky pour with intense, webby lacing. Nose is a bit apple sauce, oxidized. Taste is powerful Mexican hot chocolate, mega chili heat with bitter dark chocolate to balance. Still, an assertive monster of a beer but not over the top. Phlegm inducing powerful capsaicin. Successful, too bad for the aroma. Perhaps it oxidized a bit before kegging. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - NOV 7, 2013
On tap at brewery. Black with a thin creamy tan head. Clean coffee syrup, chocolate, and caramel aroma with subtle chili notes. Thick creamy palate. Tastes of milk chocolate, coffee, and -oh my god it just hit me - big capsicum heat.
