Not necessarily a huge fan of stouts but, damn, this could be the best beer I ever had. The brewer/creator was standing at the bar next to me and I just had to share my love! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2012
First beer on the RBSG bus. Multiple pours. Damn what a beer. Nearly black with a nice brown head. Aroma hits with loads of freshly roasted coffee, bourbon, vanilla, toffee, chocolate, roasted malt, asphalt. Just delicious. The coffee hits strong and then gives way to a bourbon laced roast with chocolate. Wow. slowrunner77 (12471) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 24, 2014
"In a head to head with 5 Speedways (including the base which is one of the top beers on this site) this was the best! Barreling adds a level andsmooths things out compared to the non-BA vietnamese coffee blend, which was awesome, but in comparison tasted a little young and sweet. This was near perfection!" rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2016
Draught at the brewery during Speedway Grand Prix 2016. Opaque black beer with a nice beige head. Incredible coffee and vanilla aroma, woody, bourbon, toffee, ice coffee, fruity, some caramel. Bourbon and coffee flavor, licorice, vanilla, oak, ice coffee, caramel, some cocoa powder and coffee. Absolutely amazing! illidurit (2347) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 20, 2012
On tap on the RBSG bus. Good way to start the day... Pours black with root beer edges and a fluffy light-brown head. Smells like brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Deep cookie dough, really vivid and very different from the garden variety Speedway. Flavor has elements of chocolate syrup and semisweet chocolate, along with a lovely toasted oaky note that dries out the finish. The coffee is strong and lends a solid bitterness. Really a fantastic beer, a hit in every aspect.

Pours black with a tan head. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, soy sauce, cream, vanilla and more chocolate aroma and flavors. Full body and average carbonation with a chocolate and coffee finish. commonshawn (1297) - Minnesota, USA - JAN 13, 2016
Tap at stanleys at the blackout beer fest with commonmac. 6 oz pour. Black with nice tan head. Complex almost confusing aroma, sweet and bitter clashing a bit. Boozy nose too. Wow. Tastes amazing. Sweetness is perfect upon this pillow of stoutness. Finish only gets bitter at the very end. It’s basically as if great coffee was also a beer. This is one of the best stouts I’ve had. From a tap, very dark brown in color, strong coffee aroma, Strong coffee note then Chocolate, great beer stronger coffee note than the normal speedway stout. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 30, 2013
Draft at Alesmith Tasting room with Linh months and months back. Pours a deep black body with huge foamy mocha head. Aroma is super rich coffee and noticeably different from the regular Speedway Stout (very lucky to be able to sample these back to back.) Mouthfeel is incredibly smoother with rich notes of chocolate, coffee, dark espresso, spice and syrup. Awesome. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Very good, kind of boozy, but still very good. It’s smooth and very sweet, has a lot of chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut. Can taste the coffee and a little bourbon as well. Smells of chocolate and vanilla. Finish is long and lingering and very satisfying.
