4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at night off a million zillion speedways 2012 at obriens. Dark black pour, with a thin tan head. This on was super smooth, one of the silkiest beers of the night. Vanilla, malty sweetness, smooth milk chocolate, whisky, nice oak character, and roasted coffee. Well blended. One of my favorites for the night.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at O’Brien’s for the Night of a Million Zillion Speedways. This had Redbreast Irish Whisky soaked Oak Spirals. Pours a low carbonated inky black. Small reddish head. Nose is subtler, some spicy wood, thicker vanilla, though all muted. Taste is overly tannic, papery, dry. Actually the poorest of the bunch that night. I think the Irish whisky plus sharply tannic oak addition really killed the palate on this beer. Wasn’t a fan.
