Draught @ CBC2015. Pours creamy pitch black with a small dark mocha head that leaves some spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, banana bread, tons of dark roast espresso coffee, dark chocolate, dried bilberries and cherries, moist soil and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is soft, fat, round, velvety, tiny boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, caramel, banana bread, dark roast espresso coffee, dark chocolate, dried bilberries, moist soil and hints of alcohol. Confirmed by the brewer as being Speeday Stout with three times the coffee. Speedway on steroids really. Love it!

on tap at the observation room. side by side w pbutter, velvet, bourbon BA and vietnamese. For coffee lovers, this is over the top awesome! the coffee used, and especially the espresso - just fantastic. Sooooo smooth at 12%. still had some of Speedway’s complexity, but this blend is all about the coffee, and is one of the best coffee beers I’ve ever had.
