750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with DrSilverworm and Dutch’s staff; thanks darkmoon66). Looks good; a dull black with light beige lacing. Smells good too; sweet, chocolatey, and malty with a nice Kopi presence. Tastes like it smells with an exceptionally smooth mouthfeel. Awesome juice; one of the best Kopi stouts I’ve had. rxeight (3043) - Illinois, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Black pour. Coffee nose. Amazing smooth. Has a mild booziness, very malty and finishes with coffe. Doesnt taste like poop at all. tom10101 (6033) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 29, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 6, 2013 Bottle (750 ml). Thanks to pandableh! Black with a medium creamy beige head and good lacing. Aroma of coffee (but we can easily get the difference with the regular speedway), vegetal notes, earthy presence, roasted malt, caramel and slight fruity notes. Taste is moderately sweet with vegetal notes again, coffee and moderate bitterness. Alcohol and bitterness are more present than in the regular Speedway, probably because the Kopi Luwak coffee is more subtle (?). Creamy mouthfeel, but less than the regular Speedway. Full body. Quite complex, but there’s a lack of balance (again, in comparison to regular Speedway) that make it hard to drink... even our 4½ oz glasses weren’t easy to finish. I prefer the regular version. Bottle from Tommy, thanks! Pours a pitch black with brown head, some lacing. Aroma has lots of earthy notes, roastyness, coffee. Taste is very bitter with lots of vegetal notes, very hoppy, coffee, roasted malts. Full body and medium carbonation. I struggled to finish my glass of this one, really hard to drink. Not really bad but the bitterness and the vegetal taste makes me want to drink regular speedway rather than this one. crossovert (12642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 28, 2013
Similiar to the regular, haven’t had the regula in bottles though. A nice fruitiness comes through.

Bottle shared by cptnspeed1...thanks Brad! - Pours black with a foamy tan head. Nose is chocolatey and sweet like a milkshake. Coffee is in there but not super pungent. There’s dark malt but it’s not super roasty. Taste is lots of vanilla, chocolate, bitter coffee, and charcoal. Super smooth with only a bit of sharpness on the finish. Warm and soft in with a fairly thin body and soft carbonation. JStax (6356) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 24, 2013
Bottle thanks to mashmaster. Thanks! Poured a really dark black, not much head. Aroma is nice, rounded, smooth, smoky coffee. Very rich. Very earthy and semi-sweet in the taste. Nice beer for certain. Steasy66 (1155) - Minnesota, USA - APR 23, 2013
Black with tan head. Aroma is sweet malt and mild coffee. Taste is similar, sweet malt and mild coffee. Nothing special really. weihenweizen (3746) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - APR 22, 2013
Chilled 75 cl brown bottle poured into a snifter at JStax tasting. Pours black with light brown head. Aroma is coffee and taste complex coffee. Side by side with regular, I prefer regular Speedway Stout.
