[ Courtesy of cgarvieuk ]. Clear dark brown black color with virtually none head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, strong coffee, cacao, coffee, wood - tobacco, moderate alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic.
From tap at the brewery as The Shit, huge thanks to Peter Zien for putting this on. Pours pitch black, creamy and with a chocolate brown and creamy head. Smooth and creamy coffee and roasted malt aroma. Smooth coffee and roasted flavour. Creamy mouthfeel and a light acidic roasted malt touch coming out of this. Lingering dry and roasted malt/coffee finish. Stunning. joergen (28704) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 28, 2011

IX. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma is big time coffee, some liquorice and mild roasted notes. Flavour is coffee, liquorice, and some alcohol. Quite dry and too much coffee to it.
Bottle courtesy of brad (who else?), thank you sir! Pours dark brown, no head, no lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee and coffee grounds. Tastes lke coffee liqueur, no carbonation or other beer characteristics. Maybe some slight bitterness in the finish. Smooth. Strong, and shows it. Big thanks to cgarvieuk for a taster of this - Cheers Craig. Lovely minerally coffee nose on this very dark brown beer. No head and next to no carbonation. Sillky almost oily palate. Mildy sour dark malt with rich coffee that starts mellow and blooms in to something stronger. The coffee keeps going andf going through to a lingering aftertaste. Lovely coffee beer!
Handbottle 18,7 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours pitch black with a tiny brown head. Hard roast malty nose with distinct coffee notes. Medium body, hard roast, sweet hard roast malts and coffee - distinct coffee. Vanilla too. The finish is surprisingly subdued. 270411 Beerhunter111 (21756) - P´Castle, GERMANY - FEB 9, 2017
