blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 3, 2016
Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Nutty and chocolatey sweetness, lighter coffee and roasted malts, a bit less sweet on the back end with some lingering roasted notes. Balanced and quite drinkable for the high ABV.

On tap at Alesmith. Poured black with tan head. Aroma nutty sweet choc. Light carb med bod. Tastes bittersweet choc roast.

Ton of coffee. Nuts. Coconut. Chocolate. Complex little pal. Draft at Maria's packaged goods. Excellent. Boozy though

My Bottom Line:
Crushed peanuts dwell within rich chocolatey sugars in this well conceived dessert of a brew.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the brown-hued blackness.
-If you like eating those chocolate candy bars, you will like this one.
-Sweetness levels are extreme.
-The peanuts, chocolate maltiness and coffee are all balanced.
-Even though this is well done treatment on Speedway Stout, I can’t find a reason to get this again if the regular Speedway is available to me.

From a growler.

Growler thanks to Russell. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong peanut butter, roast, chocolate, booze. Thick mouth, chewy, roast, peanut butter, chocolate, boozy finish, very nice.

slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 29, 2015
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2016 sweet from the Vietnamese coffee with a sublime aftertaste rolling from roasted coffee/milk chocolate to peanut butter. Doesn’t open as well as the others, hence the lowball score of "only" 4.5 :)

3.6
bergstaden (3156) - Røros, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2015
Black with off white head - Malt aroma with coffee and sweet nuts - Sweet nutty flavour with good coffee flavour with malt - Nuts in the finish - This was nice

Keg at the brewery during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix, 14/11/14. Pitch black topped with a tan swirl. Nose is big on peanut butter, chocolate, sweet infuse, nutty, hint of booze. Taste comprises Reeses cups, sweet tunes, spice, chocoalte, light coffee notes, peanut butter well evident. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid PNB impy.

On tap at the brewery. Dark brown pour with a light brown head. Peanut aromas. Peanut brittle leads to dark roasted malts and expresso notes. Plenty of caramel here.
