on tap at brewery, wow, this is as if you took pumpkin spice from dunkin donuts and added it to speedway. I had it on nitro which added to the latte experience in a very nice way. Tons of pumpkin flavoring up front.

This should be an annual Halloween release. Nose and aftertaste are more pumpkin spice than coffee or stout, but the beer and light coffee are a nice background to this desert treat. Nitro.

Draft sample at the speedway grand prix 2013. Pours a pitch black, with a tan head. Pumpkin pie, cocoa, roasted coffee, all spice, clove, and sweet milk chocolate. The flavor is blended perfectly, smooth silky mouth feel. Excellent.

Taster at Alesmith Grand Prix. Pours like other Speedways. Aroma is of pumpkin, vanilla cream, pie spice, roasted malts, and coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma but has some real pumpkin meat flavors and some nice spices. Has a medium-full body with a creamy mouthfeel and semi sweet, medium-long finish. Overall, a very tasty version of Speedway that is one of the best pumpkin beers I have tasted.

On tap at AleSmith, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads pumpkin spices upfront above anything - not much else. Flavour brings out pumpkin spices, milky latte notes, and roasted coffee notes. The pumpkin notes work very well surprisingly. Good stuff.

Tap at Alesmith for Speedway Grand Prix. Pours inky with nice reddish foam. Spot on pumpkin stout nose, pumpkin latte is correct but hefty chocolate and roast addition. Taste isn’t forced- well integrated pumpkin spice stout that makes other pumpkin stouts look silly. Powerful mace and dark chocolate nose. Taste is silky, powerful dark chocolate bitterness, German holiday iced gingerbread cookie (Lebkuchen)- one of my desserts as a child. Very successful. Probably the best pumpkin stout on earth.

On tap at brewery. Black with a thin creamy tan head. Big chocolate, pumpkin, nutmeg, and allspice aroma. Thick creamy palate. Tastes of milk chocolate, pumpkin pie, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and drip coffee with a dry bitter and lightly acerbic finish.
