Probably my least favorite of the Speedway variants. It’s cool and minty as expected, I just don’t really like the mint in it. Still way better than other stouts I’ve had with some type of mint added to it. LtDan (1806) - Los Angeles County, California, USA - DEC 4, 2011

Ap. pours a dark brown with tan swirls.
Aro. Nasty mint gum drops.
Taste. Mint. Chocholate. Coffee. Chemicals.
Mouth. Full no carb.
Overall: Not good, sorry.
Served on tap at O’Brien’s Night of a Million Zillion Speedways 2011. The appearance is the usual Speedway deep black hue with a medium roasty brown head. The aromas are great. A wonderful spearmint is the most pronounced thing. The flavors are all spearmint on the entry then the roasty malt flavors of Speedway take over and fill the mouth but with the spearmint still there. The spearmint is a fresh raw spearmint that is more medicinal then candy-like. Because of this it taste more like you brushed your teeth with some spearmint toothpaste and then drank a Speedway. A peppermint might of been a better variation maybe? JohnnyJ (5545) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 14, 2011
On tap at OBriens. Black, tan head. Pretty standard speedway flavors, roasted coffee, dry dark chocolate, a little bit dark sweetness, and only hints of mint. A nice beer for sure, but the spearmint is not very pronounced.
